ASHLEY

ASHLEY

ASHLEY

Smiling woman with tattoo and hat

Ashley is one of those humans that just lifts you up and meets you exactly where you need to be met. When she isn't teaching yoga or inferno she is either busy being mom or dog walking through the muskoka forests.

Ashley is certified in yoga and inferno hot pilates and is guaranteed to have you feeling amazing by the end of class. Also, her playlists are FIRE! Start your week off with Ashley on Mondays at salt.

ELYSE

ASHLEY

ASHLEY

Smiling woman in a black and white photo.

Elyse fell in love Pilates after university when she started a full time job. She quickly realized that sitting all day was not optimal and knew she had to find a way to move that would support her posture, strength and overall wellbeing.

With over 10 years of experience, Elyse is passionate about teaching people how to move well, be strong and feel great through all walks of life.

Her classes will target deep core while incorporating movements to challenge total body mobility and strength.

Elyse received her comprehensive Pilates and movement certification with Body Harmonics.

KIM O

ASHLEY

KIM O

Smiling woman with straight hair in a bright setting.

Before starting her career in real estate, Kim owned and operated a local fitness studio, where she taught with a true passion for Pilates. Her 11 years in the fitness industry were spent consistently educating herself to stay on top of industry trends, along with a personal challenge of entering the world of fitness competitions, which included Fitness Universe. While her real estate career continues to thrive, Kim is excited to reconnect with the fitness world, sharing her enthusiasm for group fitness purely for the fun, energy and synergy it brings.

ANGE

WENDY

KIM O

Smiling woman with wavy hair resting her chin on her hand.

Ange has been teaching yoga for over 10 years. She was drawn to the peace and self-acceptance she felt when she attended her first class many years before.

As a practising social worker, specializing in trauma therapy, she has an innate awareness, respect and appreciation of how our bodies hold onto and store emotions of all kinds.

When she's not in the studio as either a teacher or student, you will likely find her roaming the forest with her dogs, in the garden or hosting family and friends.

She is absolutely thrilled to be teaching at Salt, and cannot wait to honour everyone, as they are, on their mats.

WENDY

WENDY

Smiling woman with light hair outdoors.

Kim is passionate about health, healing and growth. Her journey to yoga began with her own healing while recovering from a shoulder injury. 10 years later, after completing her YTT and additional studies she is blessed to offer a variety of styles. Join her Rest + Restore class for gentle movement, meditation, breath work and hands on healing with Tibetan singing bowls. Outside the studio you will likely find her in nature, gardening or walking her dog Marley.

Her classes invite a deep listening—to body, breath, and inner rhythm. Through creative and undulating movement, Wendy offers space to regulate the nervous system, explore presence, and return to a grounded sense of self.

LAURA

HANNAH

LAURA

Laura has been practicing Ashtanga Yoga since 1995 and holds certifications in yoga (Yoga Alliance), Pilates (Stott), fitness instruction (CFP, FIS), and personal training (ACE). She managed a health club for 15 years before earning her Education degree in 2003, shifting her focus to teaching in schools. After a long break from fitness instruction, she joined SALT a year ago as an Energy Exchange student and felt called back to the mat. With encouragement from Jess and further training at SAOR, Laura is excited to reignite her passion for teaching and wellness.

JESS

HANNAH

LAURA

Jess opened the doors to salt May 1st, 2024 and has been excited to welcome each and everyone of you

Jess Founded salt out of a love for the hot room and the community that surrounds it. Decades of finding her way back to her mat she decided to create a space for healing, connection, health and joy!

A space that truly welcomes everyone, no matter your abilities or experience.

You might meet Jess behind the desk or in the studio teaching yoga and inferno hot pilates. If you see her around town don't hesitate to say hi!

HANNAH

HANNAH

HANNAH

Hannah has always loved to exercise. As a student in osteopathy she understands the body as one dynamic unit of function with the ability to self-heal and self-regulate through movement. She was drawn to the challenge, fun, and focus on endurance and core stability that inferno pilates brings to the mat. She is very excited to be teaching Hot Hiit at Salt.

Her humour may have you chuckling, further engaging your core muscles, but don’t think for one second her class is a joke - she will NEVER skip burpees.

ADDY

ALEXIS

HANNAH

Addy is a passionate Pilates teacher who brings strength, energy, and intention to every class. Her Hot HIIT classes are intense, dynamic, and guaranteed to get you moving, while her Pilates teaching is focused, challenging, and fun. Outside the studio, Addy is a big-time dog lover and brings that same warm, upbeat energy wherever she goes. We’re so happy to have her returning to salt and back on the schedule!

ALEXIS

ALEXIS

ALEXIS

Alexis has been teaching yoga for over 20 years and practicing yoga and meditation for even longer. She was first drawn to yoga for the physical benefits, but it was the sense of calm, focus and presence she found through her practice that truly changed things for her.

Over the years, Alexis has used yoga and meditation as a way to find deeper peace, honour her body and stay connected to the present moment. She brings that same intention into her teaching, helping students feel more at ease in their bodies, quiet the mind and reconnect with themselves.

Her hope is that you leave her classes feeling better in your mind, body and soul — and carry a little of that feeling with you beyond the studio.

AVERY

ALLISON

AVERY

Hi I’m Avery! I found yoga during a chaotic time in my life, I remember lying in the Hot room thinking 'other people need this too’ and two years later I was in front of a class teaching Hot Yoga. Fast forward another 8 years and I became a Registered Acupuncturist. You can expect fun facts, humour and guidance in my classes along with a good sweat. I’m here to help you meet yourself where you are.

Kate is a yoga teacher who is passionate about creating classes that help students feel more grounded, present, and connected to their bodies. Her teaching places a strong emphasis on breath, mindful movement, and stress relief, encouraging students to slow down, tune inward, and move in a way that feels supportive rather than performative. Whether guiding a stronger flow or a slower, more restorative practice, Kate creates an approachable and welcoming space where students can step away from the demands of everyday life and leave feeling calmer, more connected, and more at ease.
