You don’t need any yoga experience to come to salt. Our classes are designed to be approachable, and you’re always encouraged to work at your own pace.
If you’re brand new to yoga or heated classes, slow & steady or rest and restore are great places to begin.
Absolutely not. You do not need to be flexible, experienced or at any particular fitness level before starting yoga or Pilates.
Come as you are, take breaks when you need them, and build from there.
Arrive a little early (10-15 minutes) so you have time to check in, get settled and find your space before class begins.
Bring a yoga mat, water and comfortable clothes you can move in. For hot classes, expect to sweat — a lot.
We recommend taking your first few classes at your own pace. There is no pressure to keep up with anyone else in the room.
Please arrive approximately 10–15 minutes before class, especially for your first visit.
**Our studio doors are locked once class begins and late entry is not permitted.

No. Each studio has its own schedule, teachers and class offerings.
When viewing the schedule or booking a class, select either Huntsville or Bracebridge to see what’s happening at that location.

You can book through our online schedule or our glofox app (found in the App Store)
Drop-ins are welcome but spaces are never guaran
If you can’t make your class, please cancel at least 2 hours before class begins so someone else has the opportunity to take your spot. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before class will result in the loss of the class credit.
If salt needs to cancel a class, registered clients will be notified as soon as possible through text or email and any class credit used for the booking will be returned to your account.
Muskoka weather can be unpredictable. We rarely cancel because of weather, but the safety of our teachers and clients comes first.
If road conditions are unsafe or a teacher cannot safely get to the studio and alternate coverage is not available, we may cancel class. We will make the decision as early as possible and notify everyone registered.
Any credit used for a cancelled class will be returned to your account.

For most classes, bring:
For hot classes, we recommend arriving well hydrated.
Yoga mats are available to rent at the studio for $3. First rental is on us! ;)
We do have rental towels for the shower but we do not rent hot yoga towels.
At our Huntsville location, towels are provided under plastic or synthetic mats to protect the heated flooring. These towels are for floor protection only and are not for personal use.

Our class temperatures vary depending on the style.
Hot classes are generally heated to approximately 40°C, while warm and reduced-heat classes range approximately 25–35°C.
Check the class description when booking for more information about the temperature and style of each class.
You are always welcome to slow down, take a break or rest on your mat.
Learning how your body responds to the heat takes time. There is no expectation that you complete every posture or exercise.
If you feel unwell, let your teacher know. Preparation is key - arrive hydrated always!
No. We offer a mix of hot, warm and unheated classes depending on the class style and location.
Check the individual class description when booking.

Yes ~ we have men's and women's change rooms and showers in both studios.

Parking is available in front of the building - and along the side on an angle - avoiding spa reserved spots. There are also extra spots behind the building - and a second exit onto Centre Street.
Bracebridge:
Three spaces right in front of salt are available. Along the grass edge of Ecclestone there are a few spaces and then a larger lot towards the back of the building. Please avoid parking at neighbouring businesses during their open hours.
We recommend arriving with a full water bottle and hydrating before class. If you forget your water, we have clean, pre-filled water bottles in our beverage fridge that are free to use.
You can always fill your water at our water cooler as well.

Memberships are best for clients who want to come regularly, while credit packs offer more flexibility if you attend less often or your schedule changes week to week.
Visit our pricing page to see current membership, pass and credit options.
Our 5-packs expire after 3 months and our 10-packs expire after 6 months.
* on occasion credit packs will be sold without expiry dates.
Memberships are non-transferable and cannot be shared. Credits can be used to bring a friend. Adding a plus one to your booking will use two credits from your account and hold a spot for your guest.
If you are on an unlimited package adding a plus one will need to be paid in studio when you arrive. The guest will also have to sign a waiver.
We can put memberships on a pause for up to 2 months. Please reach out to info@salthotyoga.ca if you need to pause your membership.

Clients must be 14 or older to attend regular salt classes.
Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian complete the required waiver.
Pregnancy and heated exercise are very individual. We recommend speaking with your healthcare provider before attending heated classes while pregnant, particularly if hot yoga was not already part of your regular practice.
Please also let your instructor know before class.
Speak with your healthcare provider if you are unsure whether heated yoga or Pilates is appropriate for you.
Please let your teacher know about any injuries or limitations before class so they are aware.

Phones and smartwatches are not permitted in the yoga room.
We want the practice space to be somewhere you — and everyone around you — can disconnect for an hour.
Please leave devices outside the practice room and make sure they are silenced.
We ask that the yoga room remain a quiet space before and after class.
You’re welcome to chat in the lobby, but once you enter the practice room, enjoy the chance to unplug and settle in.
Pilates and HIIT classes allow quiet conversation before and after class.
We encourage everyone to stay for the entire class whenever possible, including the final rest.
If you know you need to leave early, please let the teacher know before class and choose a spot close to the door so you can leave without disrupting the room.
Not sure which class, membership or studio is right for you?
